Finding the Map for Your House

The starting point for this side quest depends directly on the Hogwarts House you chose at the beginning of the game. Gryffindor students find the map near a grave site in Hogsmeade, while Slytherins locate it within Apollonia's Grotto beneath the castle. Ravenclaw players must check the top of the Owlery, whereas Hufflepuffs discover the treasure map inside a chest near Upper Hogsfield.

Navigating to the Forbidden Forest Bridge

Once you acquire the map, fast travel to the Forbidden Forest Floo Flame location situated just southwest of Hogsmeade. Head slightly west toward the nearby stone bridge depicted in the map illustration.
